Meaning “the king of Bordeaux” in French, this royally delicious wine is a classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Marc de Saint Exupery sourced the grapes from a single vineyard about 12 miles from the famous Saint-Émilion region. Located on the right bank of the Garonne River, this special site yields beautifully elegant grapes.
Look forward to fresh, ripe red-fruit flavors (think plum, cherry and strawberry). Rounded and balanced, with gentle tannins, Le Roi de Bordeaux makes a fantastic food-pairing wine. Marc recommends starting with a platter of fine cheeses before moving into a main course of grilled or roasted meats.
