Beyond the label

Look out, New Zealand. Chile also produces thrillingly fresh, tropical-fruited Sauvignon Blanc that deserves a spot in every fan’s wine rack. And it’s a real specialty of our friends at Luis Felipe Edwards—a three-time Chilean Producer of the Year at AWC Vienna.

Head winemaker Nicolas Bizzarri sourced the grapes from top-notch sites across the cool Maule Valley. Here, warm days, chilly nights and pristine soils combine to yield some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc around. Inspired by the calming sound of the nearby river during harvest (which the Mapuche tribe likened to the song of the indigenous Fio-Fio bird), Nicolas named the wine Riversong.

You’re in for vibrant aromas of zesty citrus and fresh-cut grass. The palate is fresh and crisp, with ripe mango and lychee flavors. An exhilarating aperitif and equally delicious with seafood, salads, goat cheese and more.

Chilean Sauvignon Blanc is still something of an insider secret. Get your share before the rest of the world catches on.
