Beyond the label

Look past Bordeaux’s big-name châteaux, and you’ll find lesser-known, quality-focused winemakers that produce great wines at affordable prices. Château Moulin du Prieur is a special release from our longtime friend Ludovic Roussillon (you may know him as the talent behind Château Le Coin—our customers' most-loved red Bordeaux of all time).

Ludovic is one of the top viticulturists in Bordeaux’s Entre-Deux-Mers region. He knows how to coax the very best out of his soils to get the most flavor in his grapes. "Work hard in the vineyard and the wine almost makes itself," he likes to say. Here, Merlot lends velvety black plum character, Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine structure and cassis notes, and Cabernet Franc adds a complex earthy-spice character.

Rethink Bordeaux with this supple, generously fruity, rounded red. Made in a smooth, meant-to-be-enjoyed-young style, Château Moulin du Prieur will shine alongside beef roasts, hearty pasta dishes or a plate of charcuterie and firm cheeses. Taste it for yourself—order today.
