Flavor Profile
The Bouché family (pictured below) have made elegant Champagne since 1920. In 1989, fourth-generation winemakers Bruno and Bernadette Bouché founded Domaine B&B Bouché in southern France’s famed Limoux region, where the monks of the Abbaye de Saint Hilaire produced sparkling wine in 1531 (around 100 years before the legendary Dom Perignon made his name with bubbly).
Bruno and Bernadette’s beautiful Crémant de Limoux rosé features hand-harvested Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (the lovely pale color comes from a gentle pressing of the latter grape variety). Crafted in the same painstaking method as the family’s Champagne, it’s a sophisticated, great-value alternative to pricey pink Champagne. (Case in point: when our southern French wine expert, Mark Hoddy, married winemaker Nicole McPheeters, they proudly served the Bouché family's bubbly at their wedding instead of Champagne.)
As you pour, you’ll be greeted by fresh, red-berry aromas, supported by classic brioche characters. On the palate, a delicate, creamy mousse introduces more toasty berry charm and a long, crisp finish. The perfect fizz for any special celebration, it’s wonderfully versatile and will shine alongside hors d’oeuvres, shellfish, roasted chicken, fresh salmon and more.
If you’re ready to toast in style, add this elegant rosé bubbly to your cart today.
