Beyond the label

Rosé is one of our most in-demand wine styles, so we’re always on the lookout for exciting pinks to share with you. This exclusive find hails from Farinelli, the acclaimed, seaside estate of Federica d’Amato and Pasquale Caldora.

Farinelli lies in central Italy’s Abruzzo region. Located along the Adriatic coast, Federica and Pasquale’s vineyards benefit from a rugged, mountainous terrain, sunny days and cooling Adriatic Sea breezes—all of which conspire to produce distinctive, ripe and fresh grapes. This elegant rosato is crafted from Montepulciano, the Abruzzo region’s star grape variety. While most famous for producing red wines in the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, the grape also makes dazzling pinks.

Look forward to a gorgeous, deep-pink color in the glass, followed by ripe strawberry and forest fruit aromas. Fresh and crisp, the palate offers creamy, red-berry flavors and a long, vibrant finish. A lovely aperitivo or a tasty match for white-sauced pastas, spicy Asian cuisine, soft cheeses and more.

Our rosé wines almost always sell out quickly, and this fine Italian pink is sure to be a popular pick. Order now to avoid missing out.
