Beyond the label

“Whether you favor Riesling or Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Syrah, Washington can deliver pure fruit flavors and distinctive character at prices that won’t break the bank.”
—Wine Spectator

Washington’s signature style of Cabernet is particularly lovely, as you’ll taste with this vibrant exclusive from talented winemaker Doug Roosevelt. It’s presented here in a 1.5-liter magnum bottle (twice the size of a regular bottle), so you can pour generously.

Crafted in celebration of the West Coast’s dramatic allure, with its majestic ancient redwoods and gnarled old vines, Knotwood showcases all the pure-fruited elegance you’d expect of a Washington Cab. This is due, in part, to the Horse Heaven Hills, a premium enclave of the Columbia Valley. The region’s brilliant sunshine ripens grapes to perfection, while the rich alluvial soils and wide diurnal temperature range help develop complex, concentrated flavors.

And, of course, Doug plays a big role. His expertise leads him to select the best parcels of Cabernet and coax out all their fruit-rich charm. He even treated the wine to six months in fine oak barrels to impart toasty vanilla-spice notes to the wine’s ripe currant and dark berry flavors.

If you’re a fan of bold reds, you’ll definitely enjoy sipping this Cabernet solo. It’ll be equally delicious with burgers, roasted meats or hearty stews.

Washington is really giving California a run for its money when it comes to elegant, great-value Cabs. Order this exclusive MAGNUM today and taste for yourself.
