Beyond the Label

The Fernández de Manzanos family have been making prize-winning Rioja wines for over 120 years. Today, young brothers Victor and David (los hermanos) carry on the family’s great tradition in honor of their late father.

For their silky, fruit-forward tinto, Victor and David literally had their pick of premium grapes. And thanks to the high altitude of the vineyards, their Tempranillo produced a wine of extra intensity and elegance. (Higher altitudes mean cooler temperatures, which helps prevent grapes from over-ripening.) Partially aged in French oak for eight months, it offers hints of spice (licorice and clove), along with juicy plum and strawberry flavors.

We suggest sharing Los Hermanos with your family over a simple meal of grilled lamb or pork and roasted vegetables. We also suggest securing your share soon – this is a limited-edition red, and we have very few cases.
