Beyond the label

Rosé is everywhere now. But from this ocean of pink, how do you single out the best of the best? Simple—just ask our expert Jean-Marc Sauboua to find it for you.

He reached out to his old friend, Hervé Sabardeil, to secure the latest release of his special project from the heart of the rugged Côtes de Provence. Hervé hand picks (literally) the finest Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Vermentino grapes from ancient vines dotting the highest altitudes in the region. The combination of intense Mediterranean sunshine, poor soils (which forces vines to produce smaller, more concentrated grapes) and cool breezes produces incredible flavors.

Just wait until you taste Roche Bellemont. You’re in for fresh red-berry flavors elevated by complex, creamy hints of lavender and wild herbs, plus a crisp, mineral finish. Great on its own, it will taste even better alongside a big, leafy summer salad, savory BBQ dishes, fresh-caught shellfish and more.

Ready and waiting for its turn to shine on your dinner table—don’t delay.
