Beyond the label

The acclaimed Schroeder family has braved the elements in Argentina's Patagonia region since 1927—and they've really mastered their conditions. Exhibit A: Their signature Schroeder Estate Patagonia Cabernet Sauvignon, which offers complex aromas of smoky black currant and graphite that lead to a smooth and intensely flavored, medium-bodied palate of cassis and black cherry.

Some of their success comes down to climate. Down in Patagonia, at 39° South Latitude, sunny days, cool nights and icy-cold Antarctic winds produce uniquely tight clusters of tiny, thick-skinned Cabernet grapes that create reds of serious color and flavor.

But part the rest comes down to the family. The Schroeder's are quality-obsessed, constantly innovating, always looking for the best way to interpret their unique terroir and making "wines that master sommeliers should love,” says The Wine Advocate.

Previous vinatges of this wine have earned gold medals and 90+ points from France’s Gilbert & Gaillard, Vinous.com and critic James Suckling. We can promise this release is just as good.

Look forward to generous, yet balanced, cassis, red currant and vibrant cherry flavors, accented by graphite, nutmeg and tobacco leaf, all hemmed in by chewy tannins.

This is a serious Cabernet value—and the perfect partner for a juicy steak. Secure your share today.
