The Wine

For years, customers have asked us to bring them a great kosher wine—and we finally found the perfect one.

Direct from the ancient (literally) vine-growing region of Israel, Seven5Zero Kosher Cabernet Sauvignon shows just how delicious these carefully crafted wines can be. It arrives from a leading estate in Galilee, near Mount Tabor, where high altitudes (750 meters—hence the name) and mineral-rich red soils create perfect conditions for top-notch Cab. Brilliant sun ripens grapes to perfection, while Mediterranean breezes lock in an elegant finesse.

While you may not have tasted one before, Israeli Cabs can definitely hold their own against others. We proved that theory with ease after an impromptu blind tasting of Seven5Zero beside Cabs from other famous regions. This barrel-aged release easily stood up to top-notch Californian and French bottles, delivering rich cassis fruit, plus savory spices and velvety structure in the glass. In short, not the wine you may picture when you hear the word ‘kosher.’

A very classy bottle for any special meal—Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, Passover and beyond. Very few cases imported, so do order quickly.
