The Jumper is a classically styled light-bodied New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, bursting with totally delicious stone- and tropical fruit flavors, with zesty lime accents.
It's crafted by James Macdonald, nephew to Jane Hunter (“The First Lady of New Zealand Wine”) and winemaker at Hunter’s Wines, one of the most renowned family estates in the premium Marlborough region. James has traveled all over the globe, honing his craft at top estates around the world (the name “The Jumper” is a nod to his globetrotting antics).
New Zealand wine expert Sam Kim fell for The Jumper’s charms a few vintages ago, rating it 4 out of 5 stars. “This is attractively aromatic on the nose showing nectarine, feijoa, lime zest and dill characters, leading to a lively palate that delivers pristine fruit intensity backed by crisp acidity," she remarked. "The wine is immediately appealing with plenty of vibrant, tasty flavors.”
